Llanelli Athletic Club athletes have been enjoying racing in events across south Wales and further afield during this hot weather. Rachel Evans making a comeback after injury completed the tough Llandeilo Three Parks 10k Challenge and Donna Fernandez and Sofiya Abramchuk Hussey completed the even tougher 16.5 miles Sarn Helen trail race in Lampeter, coming 2nd and 1st respectively in the Female 35 – 44age category. Mean-while in Lithuania Jeremy Rowlands was one of 6 British athletes competing in a 10k race in Vingis, and was the first Brit home. A brilliant achievement as he had also completed the Parkrun earlier in the day!
