Cross Country Fixtures 2026/27
We are affiliated to the John H Collins Gwent Cross-Country League, which is one of the largest such leagues in the UK, drawing more than 60 clubs from across the South of Wales and South West England. The Club has run in the league for over 40 years, and you can only run in the league if you are a member of an affiliated club.
There are 5 matches at different locations over the winter, usually on Saturdays.
There are different age categories who run different distances. Girls and boys have their own separate races, as do the ladies and men.
Fees per race are £5 Seniors £2 Juniors, these are collected by the team manage ateach event. Age Groups: Seniors, Masters, (9 – Under 12) , Under 14, Under 16, Under 18. Any Junior Club member completing all 5 Gwent League matches in a season is awarded the “Chair’s Gwent League Cross Country Award”
We are also affiliated to the West Glamorgan Cross Country League, which has a
series of races on Sunday mornings for over 17’s and seniors only. Men and women race the same course together. There is a small entry fee, and athletes are required to pay and enter themselves via the West Glamorgan registration site.
You have to be a member of an affiliated Club to gain entry.

Saturday 5 th December – Gwent League Fixture 3 – Possibly Blaise Castle
Sunday 10 th January – West Glam League Fixture 4 – Margam
Saturday 16 th January – Gwent League Fixture 4 – TBC
Sunday 07th February – West Glam League Fixture 5 – Kenfig
