As the red and white vests were swapped for smart dress code, the room at Foel club filled with the familiar buzz of the Llanelli AAC family. After a year defined by hard sessions and rain-soaked finish lines, tonight wasn’t about the clock—it was about the community. We gathered to celebrate the milestones that made 2025 one of our strongest years yet.
The future of Llanelli athletics is in safe hands. From the West Wales Junior League to the UK Indoor Championships, our younger athletes have shown incredible maturity and talent. Seeing stars like Darcy Coslett, Joseph Franklin and Mari Wilson receive their honors reminds us why we invest so much in our junior pathways. These aren’t just medals; they are the result of countless laps around the track and the unwavering support of our coaches.
Behind every PB is a coach who stood in the rain with a stopwatch. Tonight, we paused to thank the ‘invisible’ heroes of Llanelli AAC. From the officials who ensure our meets run like clockwork to the volunteers who keep the club thriving, your dedication is the heartbeat of this team. We don’t just build athletes; we build a home for sport in Llanelli.
From incredible performances and broken records to our strong presence in the Gwent League, our seniors and veterans proved that age is just a number. Tonight, we toasted the endurance, the road miles, and the relentless spirit of those who lead by example. Whether you’re a beginner or an international, everyone mattered.
As the trophies were packed away and the music started, the message of the night was clear: we are more than just a running club. We are a team that cheers the loudest for the last person across the line. Here’s to the PBs of 2025, and to the goals we haven’t even set yet for 2026. Well done everyone at Llanelli Amateur Athletics Club.
Thanks to Byron Williams for the photography on the night.
