More than 5,000 runners endured the wind and rain in this year’s Admiral Swansea 10k.
Runners ran towards the beautiful Swansea bay towards the Mumbles before returning along the coast towards Swansea, to huge celebrations
Llanelli Athletics were represented by 4 seniors. Simon Dorken was first home with a chip time of 43.35, followed by Mathew Jones 50.01 in the M45 age group. Andrew Morris finished with a chip time of 1:02.52, and Rachel Evans finishing in 1:03.54.
Owain Gravell finished in 174th place overall with an outstanding chip time of 39.31 breaking the 40 minute barrier. Finishing 14th overall (out of 125) in the Junior Category.
Liliana Evans finished second female and gaining a well deserved medal in the 8-11 1k race with a time 3.53.
Elin Edwards competed in the 3k race coming back from injury with a time of 14.57.
