The 107th senior championships included some exciting athletics and another successful day for Llanelli athletes.
Among the highlights on Day 1 were Darcy Coslett, who won the under-17 women’s 300m title. Coslett improved on her season’s best with a time of 38.41 finishing nearly 3 seconds ahead of the next athlete.
Joseph Franklin, also had an outstanding performance, in a high quality field, with some of UK’s best athletes in the 100m.
Harrison Wheeler competed well in the 400m Seniors ,while Josh Peel finished 3rd of the Welsh Athletes in the U17 400m.
New comer Tariyan Wheeler gained a PB in the U17 High Jump finishing in 4th.
On Day 2 of the championships we saw Darcy Coslett smash her PB in the 200m this time, with a time of 24.27, finishing in 2nd place against stiff competition.
We also saw Mari Wilson compete in the 300m U17’s race, and also winning silver medal in the U17 High Jump with a seasons best performance, against strong competition completing a fantastic weekend.
